IPG, Inc.

IPG, Inc. is an international nonprofit organization which is the culmination of the cooperative efforts of professional pet groomers to upgrade and benefit their industry.

One of it's major purposes is to provide respectable, voluntary testing of applicants in order to certify their pet grooming skills. It is for this reason that the certification program outlined here and in the IPG brochure has been developed.

In addition, it provides advanced continuing education programs designed to enhance the expertise and business acumen of professional pet groomers and promotes consumer awareness programs to inform and educate the general public about the proper care and humane treatment of their pets.

IPG, Inc. is governed by a five member Board of Directors elected from IPG's membership. It is the responsibility of the Board to manage the business affairs of the corporation and to administer all policies required for its successful management.
