Enrollment

A list of dates and locations of upcoming certification tests is provided to all interested groomers on the online calendar or via mail upon written request.

In order to enroll in a certification test, your application(s), submitted with the appropriate fees, must be be received by the Executive Director no later than two weeks prior to the desired test site date.

All certification testing is managed with the strictest confidence. ABSOLUTELY NO SPECTATORS SHALL BE PERMITTED DURING THE CERTIFICATION.

Preparation

IPG provides the following two methods for professional pet groomers to prepare themselves for the testing procedure:

1. IPG, Inc. has established grooming guidelines for each phase of the testing procedure that may be purchased prior to applying for certification by request at the cost of $20.00 (US FUNDS) for IPG Members.
2. IPG, Inc. conducts educational workshops so as to acquaint professional pet groomers with the certification testing procedure. All groomers are invited to attend IPG Accredited Workshops and are not required to apply for participating in the testing procedure. A $10 discount will be given to all current IPG Members presenting proof of membership.
